First looks: ASUS’ new ZenBook Pro laptops have a 5.5-inch screen as their trackpad

ASUS new ZenBook Pro 14 and 15 have two screens each, and that's not even due to some new-fangled design in the style of Project Precog PC. The latter lets you drag browser window off the main display and onto ScreenPad, so you can actually watch YouTube video on it ... It aland it acts as function command screen for Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.. One of the important aspects of notebook for creative professionals is probably the display, and ZenBook Pro 15 offers up to 4K touchscreen NanoEdge display with Delta E value of less than 2. On top of that, the laptop can output to five external displays at once, thanks to its two Thunderbolt 3 ports that support two 4K displays each, and one full-sized HDMI 1.4 output... while ZenBook Pro featured setup, the model utilizes dual speakers, partly because ScreenPad demanded rejigging of the layout of the notebook..  ZenBook Pro 15 packs good amount of processing power as well, and it can be equipped with up to Intel Core i9-8950HK processor. To keep things cool, the laptop relies on dual fans and three heat pipes to channel heat away from CPU and GPU.  ZenBook Pro 14 shares similar aesthetic, and it uses ASUS ErgoLift hinge. the 14-incher is less powerful than its larger sibling, and it can only be equipped with up to Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q.  Read more
