LightSpectrum Pro iOS app detects the temperature of view through iPhone camera displaying Kelvin and color spectrum.. LightSpectrum Pro In App Display.. Unless you carry feet or card to each shoot it can be hard to nail the accurately especially avoiding the camera presets of calcium and auto. Upon opening the app and giving it access to LightSpectrum Pro analyses what the camera is pointing at and displays it as graphic in Kelvin. Kelvin display can be switched to Lambda range and measures can be experienceed and includes in the app with photo of that scene.. In the not below test the temperature was set to 6800K however by eye I will have made this cooler and tightened the tint. The downside to the app is that when you point the smartphone at area of the view the not black balance does change much. Evidentially the app takes experience of that one of the view which then shifts as the camera moves. For run and gun shooting it would be terms to checking the temperature of games but it would not be reliable in other shooting circumstances.. At the end of the year if you know it looks wrong when you set the temperature in camera take the time to set it properly.. For $1.99 it is fast and tool to carry with you but wouldn't replace card or taking the time to measure correctly.
