Specification-wise it seems like the Mi 6X Mi A2 is a better phone than the Redmi Note 5 Pro and judging by the Chinese pricing of the phone it better be.
By comparison the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is priced at Rs 13 999 for the 4GB RAM 64GB storage variant while the 6GB RAM 64Gb storage variant is priced at Rs 16 999.
While the Redmi Note 5 Pro offered a 12MP+5MP cameras the Mi 6X offers a 20MP+12MP cameras.
While the Redmi Note 5 Pro sports a microUSB port the Mi 6X Mi A2 sports a USB Type-C port... Processor.
It's possible that Xiaomi may follow suit with the Mi A2 if the company decides to launch the phone in India..
