ZenBook Pro 15 UX580 has new trick to show off — totally new touchscreen trackpad known as the ScreenPad.
This new trackpad is 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 FullHD touchscreen that provides dual duties as Microsoft Precision Touchpad and secondary screen that shows customized controls for programs such as Microsoft Office, Spotify, and YouTube.
There is toolbar along the top of ScreenPad that can be dragged down to show the user-configurable app launcher and software controls.
ScreenPad essentially takes the idea of Apple's Touch Bar and moves it into the trackpad so that the keyboard still has room for dedicated function keys in the F-row. ..
Finally, ScreenPad can mirror smartphone screen using Asus Sync, and we think this is more of novelty feature rather than something people would use regularly.
