When iPad powers up, you'll get Apple logo for few moments, and then welcome screen that says Hello and asks you to swipe at the bottom to get started. Now you have to set up Face ID if you're using one of iPad Pro models or Touch ID if you're on the latest 9.7-inch iPad. You should also have backup of all that in iCloud, too, and iPad asks you about that.. The idea is that with this switched on, iPad will be in the day, in the night and all parts of the in between.. They're apps like Pages, Numbers, the e-reading and management program iBooks, Garageband for music, Keynote for presentations, and more. These are all world-class apps, they're not the usual stuff you get for free on computers, like it does Mail and Safari, is beyond us.. The exceptions are Camera, Photos, App Store, Find iPhone, Messages, Clock and Safari.. The apps on your front screen do not have to stay there you can put any you like, that you buy from App Store, and you can change the order. then if you search for app around that time, iPad will always offer you Numbers or Excel or whatever it's you tend to use.. The time you try this, you'll find it hard to see where to begin swiping, and try putting your finger on the black or white bezel around the display and then keep it pressed against the glass as you swipe in.
