Continuing AppleInsider's video series comparing Apple's iPhone XS Max to Google's Pixel XL, this installment takes closer look, at the two flagships speaker systems... Apple's iPhone XS and XS Max carry over the configuration seen on iPhone models, with the speaker and down-firing loudspeaker acting as discrete units when holding the in orientation. To test sound output, we positioned microphone fair distance away from both phones and played variety of music and video content through their respective speakers. Overall, Pixel XL outperforms iPhone with louder highs and wider dynamic range of frequencies. The speaker on Pixel XL, is very quiet compared to the loudspeaker. For instance, while the larger bottom speaker handles the mid and low tones. We are not sure except XS Max does not suffer from similar issues..
